Leadership & Impact

  • I have experience leading teams of all sizes, from warehouse crews and creative contractors to marketing specialists and non-profit staff.

At Craft + Boogie, I built and managed a team of four warehouse staff and more than ten contractors to keep operations running smoothly.

At Explore Washington Park, I led a small but mighty marketing team while also managing up to the Deputy Director and Executive Director to make things like this happen.

And back at Nike, I took on a mentorship role within the writing team, helping junior creatives grow their voice and confidence.

    • Led strategic marketing planning at Explore Washington Park.

    • Used plans to guide campaign development, messaging, and partnership outreach.

    • Restructured the marketing team to better meet goals, recognizing the need for a dedicated digital marketing specialist.

      • Hired and onboarded a new specialist (replacing a design role that was more effectively outsourced).

      • As a result, achieved significant year-over-year growth:

        • Social media reach ↑ 71%

        • Website users ↑ 6.85%

        • Ad impressions ↑ 28.45%

        • Newsletter open rate ↑ 1.21%

        • Google Business views ↑ 3.36%

    • At Craft + Boogie, developed and executed monthly go-to-market (GTM) plans, building each box from concept to delivery:

      • Chose creative themes and designed original crafts

      • Scoped materials, timelines, and shipping schedules

      • Managed product budgets and balanced cost with quality

      • Planned email, social, and web campaigns to drive sales and engagement

  • I wrote and secured a $100,000 Travel Oregon grant to fund a full redesign of Explore Washington Park’s website, a project I now lead with a focus on accessibility, multilingual content, and user-friendly navigation. Read the proposal

I also oversaw the organization’s Transit Pass Program, funded by Metro and the Federal Transit Administration, which distributed subsidized TriMet passes through community-based organizations serving low-income families, seniors, and youth, removing transportation barriers and making the Park more welcoming and accessible to all.

And at Craft + Boogie, I led grassroots fundraising efforts. I built partnerships with large, local corporations like Nike, KEEN, and OHSU, who sponsored our craft kits and helped amplify our mission. I also developed community-centered fundraising campaigns that combined personal storytelling, donor incentives, and creative advocacy.
